Want to 'Tri' Triathlon?
The Club caters for all abilities - in fact, the majority of our members had never completed a triathlon before joining up. Our training program has sessions for all fitness levels, with additional support in each discipline and introductory sessions to get you going. If triathlon is something you're interested in, you can be sure we'll guide you to the start line fully prepared to complete your first triathlon.
This year, UoN Tri are ramping up our Engage programme to provide a broader offer to non-members and those new to triathlon. After discussions with UoN Engage, the club has decided to trial a more regular system to try and get as many of you involved as possible. Starting from the end of October, we will be offering two weekly sessions to non-members, alongside other monthly offers and opportunities to give it a “Tri”. All sessions are structured and run by our coaches, and are open to all students at the University of Nottingham. Just book onto a course under “session register” and we’ll see you at training.
Swim - starts on Monday 29th October (19:30-20.30) DRSV pool, then every week thereafter.
Bike - Wednesday 31st October (14.00 - 15.00) Jubilee Spin Studio. Once per month.
Circuits - starts on Thursday 31st October (20.30-21.30) DRSV Studio 2, then every week thereafter,
Our engage sessions are the perfect opportunity to introduce yourself to triathlon and get yourself ready for Notts Triathlon taking place on campus on in Spring 2019. Get more info under “session register” above.
This year we are hosting 4 GoTri events that are beginner friendly and aimed towards introducing people to the sport in a really relaxed environment. Make sure you are also following our facebook page to keep up to date with our upcoming GoTri events.
